Q: Why do I have to register for a purchase, why can't I simply do a guest checkout?

A: The data you have to provide for registration is Exactly the same as to what would be needed for guest checkout. Eg Name, address, contact details etc. The benefit of registration is that you will be able to check your account history, track your shipment and get back office support promptly!


Q: Ok, I understand the registration part, but what about my privacy and user data?

A: We do not share or sell any data provided to us! We have the highest standards for your Privacy and Data security. For more details click here.


Q: How can I be assured that the product I am buying is original by the artist and not mass produced?

A: All the products come with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist herself which clearly state that the product is an original and not mass produced item.


Q: What about taxes. What additional costs do I have to pay as tax?

A: Mandatory Sales tax will be charged on the basis of your billing address in Canada as per the provincial sales tax rate.


Q: I am from the United States, what taxes are applicable for a US buyer?

A: NO Sales tax or any other tax is added for a purchase made from USA. Original works of art are usually always not charged customs, especially more so because they are not mass produced and artist's Certificate of Authenticity is with the product. For any other taxes that may arise in USA please consult the relevent websites.
Please note that for orders originating outside Canada, payments and orders are handled by our associates SitefirstPage Ltd. Paypal payments are accepted.


Q: I am in Greater Toronto Area (or visiting from New York to GTA) can i personally collect my products to save shipping and time.

A: Sure, that can be easily arranged. Just inform us in advance of the day of your visit and the rest will be arranged. 


Q: I see paintings on this websites. Are the originals available for sale too?

A: We currently do not sell original paintings through this website. If you are interested in any of artist Doris Cohen's Paintings please leave us a note and contact info and the artist or her managers will get back to you.


Q: I really like a product on the website, but with some modifications. Can this be arranged?

A: Sorry but no. Works of such nature as a glass art product are the outcome of an artist’s final creative effort. But we do value your artistic sensibilities and feedback. So please leave a note, it will definitely be forwarded to Doris Cohen for consideration.


Q: I really liked some paintings and want their prints but somehow am unable to get them from Fine Art America or Zazzle. Where else can I get them?

A: Although we prefer print sales through Fine Art America and Zazzle, we also have arrangements with Cafepress, Imagekind and many other Print On Demand companies. Please leave a note with details of painting, the issue (could be any one of these -Frames, Frames cost, Delivery issues, Print size etc) and we will guide you to the best possible deal.


Q: Is there any discount on multiple items purchase. If any is the discount only for big ticket items or is there any discount on small items like -purchase of a particular series of Stained glass candle holders.

A: Well, mostly the price is as it is but depending on your requirements a request can be considered. Please note that Money or Volume is not the only criteria, the artist has in the past given deep discounts and even donated original artwork to charities, foundations, causes and connoisseurs.
